…. and I launched Crystal Embroidery Co in 2017 to bring unique art and hand selected gemstones to spiritual seekers, art lovers, crafters, and crystal collectors all over the world.

So who am I?
I’m a crystal lover and I’ve always had gemstones in my life – starting with a Rose Quartz heart-shaped pendant as a gift from my mum when I was little. But my collecting really kicked up a notch in 2016 when I moved into my own house and had so much space to fill with beautiful things. But it’s not hoarding if it’s crystals.
I’m an ‘arty’ person but throughout my life I flitted between different methods and never felt drawn to a particular style. That was until I picked up an embroidery needle in early 2017 – I’ve been addicted to hand embroidery ever since. Now I can use my experience experimenting with all those art methods to create unique artworks that are unlike anything else. As I combine new methods, I’ll be sharing the lessons I learn to help you create your own unique art.
In 2018 I trained to be a professional Reiki practitioner so all of my products are charged with Reiki energy. Reiki is universal life force energy that I view as white light and through my training I am able to harness and channel it. Since becoming a Reiki practitioner my spiritual and natural healing journey really kicked up a notch.

Why do I love hand embroidery?
Firstly, because it’s so meditative just sitting and stabbing a piece of fabric thousands of times. I’m able to clear my mind and be present in the moment which is not so easy in our busy lives.
Secondly, I love that you can never stop learning so it never gets boring. I’m constantly learning new stitches or new ways of using old stitches so I’ll be sharing that journey with you, both on social media and on my blog.
Thirdly, there are endless ways that crystals can be incorporated with hand embroidery and spiritual work.
Lastly, I LOVE embroidery supplies, especially cute scissors. When I first started hand embroidery, my mum donated her embroidery floss from the 90s – there was a lot of browns, pinks, and olive greens that I’ve never used but they might come in handy one day. Remember… it’s not hoarding if it’s embroidery supplies.
